Changes to Bus services between Hertford & Welwyn Garden City

From January 7th, a new bus service 323 (click for timetable) will run half-hourly between Hertford and WGC (Haldens) via Hertingfordbury Road, Thieves Lane, A414 and the QEII Hospital.

The existing 324 service will switch operator to Centrebus and, except for early mornings, evenings and Sundays, will run via the Old Coach Road rather than the A414 stopping additionally in Hertfingfordbury, Staines Green, Birch Green and Cole Green

There will be some additional evening journeys on the 724 service, which will restore an evening bus service from Hertford Bus station to Sele (Fordwich Rise) and onward to Heathrow, leaving the bus station at:

20.22, 21.27, 22.27 and 23.27 (Monday-Friday)
20.17, 21.17, 22.21 and 23.21 (Saturday)
20.54 (Sunday)

The 01.27 will continue to run every day for the real late-nighters (or if you have an early flight)

In the other direction, there will be an hourly service all evening from Heathrow (via Watford, St. Albans, Hatfield, WGC) heading to Harlow, stopping at The Golden Griffin:

22.05, 23.00, 23.59 and houly until 03.59 (Monday to Saturday / Sunday morning)
21.31, 23.39, 02.50 (Sunday / Monday morning)
